By Believing Passionately... [23 Feb 2005|03:19pm]

[ music | "At the End of the Day" from 'Les Miserables' ]

Today has been quite long already… It’s barely 3:20pm, but it already seems that this day has last for weeks… I’ve been listening to the soundtrack for the Broadway Musical, “Les Miserables.” And there are songs in here that can move you to tears, and others that can move you to action, yet the overlying tone is quite bleak. It’s a story repentance, justice, greed, sorrow, and most of all, love.
Listening to this, I can’t help but feel a little homesick. I was able to see this with my family… it was a trip to remember… flying to New York City, with those that I love. I consider my high school choir a family, just as much as I consider my blood relative family. Although I know that this may never reach the eyes of my friends all over the world… I pray that they feel the same way I do.
High School was the best years of my life, it was there that I have most figured out who I am, and who I want to be.
I wish there was a way to convey this feeling through something other than words. To share just pure emotion with those that read this. If there were a way to capture emotion in a bottle, and to open it and feel what was stored inside. But that’s impossible…
Impossible…sure…

. . .

“By Believing Passionately In Something That Still Does Not Exist, We Create It. The
Nonexistent Is Whatever We Have Not Sufficiently Desired.”

. . .

So if this statement is true, then that means that there is nothing that is ‘impossible’.

. . .

“Fall-De-Rhal, And Fiddle-Le-Dee, Fiddley Faddley Foodle. All The Dreamers In The World Are Dizzy In the Noodle.”

. . .

I am a dreamer, I love to dream of new ideas, to find ways to express my emotion, to find myself. So I guess I’m crazy…

. . .

“Impossible, for a strange country bumpkin and a prince to join in marriage. Impossible for a little yellow pumpkin to become a golden carriage. And four white mice will never be four white horses. Oh, Fall-De-Rhal, and Fiddle-Le-Dee, of courses. Impossible? For the world if full of crazies and fools, who don’t believe in sensible rules, and don’t believe what regular people say. For these Fall-De-Rhals and Do-It-I-Don’ts keep building up impossible hopes. Impossible? Things are happening every day.”

. . .

Impossible is possible, you just have to have faith that it can be.

. . .

“Seeing isn’t believing. Believing is seeing.”

. . .

So what if you say Santa Clause doesn’t exist, and that you will never amount to anything? Just because you can’t see something, doesn’t mean it’s not there.

I don’t claim to know everything, and that is most definitely the case. All I know is what I feel, and although you may not feel the same way, I know that there is always hope. It’s never to late… you’ve just got to believe…
